Catch your own supper. Why not avail of our local friendly fisherman Stephen Carty who will take you out on the sea where you can fish for mackerel, cod and pollock.

Stephen is Docked in Bannow bay, just 2 miles from the cottages and has a lifetime of fishing experience.

Day Trip To Waterford:

Take the train from Wellington bridge ( 5 minutes from Bannow Cottages by car) to Waterford in the morning and return on the afternoon train.

Beautiful views of the 3 sister rivers and only 40 mins.

While in Waterford take in the sights of the city at the museum of treasuries or join one of the Waterford walking tours. Alternatively why not get lost in a spot of Retail Shopping, all the top brands are to be found here.
