Bannow Cottages is an ideal location from which to embark upon a huge range of activities. The estuary north of Bannow Island is a vast reserve for waterfowl and just 10 minutes walk from Bannow Cottages. The beaches at Blackhall and Bannow are 5 minutes by car. Fishing is very popular on these beaches.

Atractions: Within 30 minutes by car there are numerous things to do, including, The Hook Lighthouse and visitor centre, Duncannon Fort. Dunbrody Abbey, Wexford Wildfowl Reserve, Ballyteigue Burrow National Reserve, Kilmore Quay Marina and Fishing port and the Saltee Island Bird Sanctuary (by ferry).

200km in length, stretching from Hook Head Peninsula to Wexford Town and beyond towards Dublin.
